Job Description

As a General Practitioner with us, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare to the community in Pretoria. This position involves patient assessments, treatment planning, and management of ongoing care.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostics.
• Offer family planning and reproductive health services.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Advocate for patient rights and informed consent.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
• Engage with the community on health awareness and education.
• Manage healthcare resources effectively.
• Conduct referrals to specialists as required.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or relevant qualification
• Additional certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred

Experience

• Experience in a trauma or emergency care setting is advantageous
