Responsibilities

  • Lead surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety.
  • Educate pet owners on post-operative care and health maintenance.

  • Manage and mentor support staff and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and best practices.
  • Work with the practice team to develop community outreach programs.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret the results effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary practice setting preferred
