Airplane Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Airplane Mechanic, where you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft systems and components to ensure their safe and efficient operation. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and has technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft systems proactively, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for all aircraft serviced.
• Engage with the aviation team to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Participate in training to remain knowledgeable about new aviation directives and technologies.
• Perform evaluations and modifications on aircraft systems as needed.
• Assist with compliance audits and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding aircraft status.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and challenges.
• Support junior mechanics in their learning and tasks.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and accountability within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A&P License and additional certifications preferred

Experience

• 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and repair is preferred.

• Relevant aviation certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Avionics Maintenance Experience: Experience in avionics and electrical systems maintenance would be advantageous.
• Inspection Experience: Prior experience in conducting inspections and preparing aircraft for test flights is beneficial.
