Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Data Scientist to join our Johannesburg team. Your role will involve analysing large datasets to gain insights and support strategic decision-making. You will leverage statistical methods and SQL to interpret complex data and present your findings in an impactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends and patterns in large data sets.
• Build statistical models for forecasting and optimization.
• Communicate complex results clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Research new data sources and technologies to enhance analytics.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Mentor junior analysts in data analysis techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
