Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer in our Durban office, you will focus on optimizing supply chain processes and developing metrics that measure operational success. You will collaborate with production teams to create efficient workflows, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement process optimization projects.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to engineering designs.
• Gather and analyze performance data for operational improvements.
• Facilitate workshops to engage employees in lean process methodologies.
• Identify training needs and develop training programs for staff.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality and reduce costs.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Support cross-departmental projects that align with engineering goals.
• Actively participate in project management meetings to track progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing.
