Job Description

As a Pharmacist with HealthCare Solutions in Johannesburg, you'll be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and counselling patients regarding their healthcare. Commitment to quality patient service is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide patient education on medications and their proper use.
  • Conduct medication reviews and monitor patient medication therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise pharmacy assistants and interns as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation.
  • Stay updated with new pharmaceutical developments and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
