Job Description

Looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our strong healthcare team in Cape Town. You will be at the forefront of patient care delivery, ensuring the health and comfort of patients, while also assisting in administrative tasks and fostering positive relationships within the medical team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing services to patients and families.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients.
• Document care provided in patient records accurately.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
• Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with nursing practice.
• Implement infection prevention protocols across all patient interactions.
• Evaluate patient responses to medications and treatments.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Support health promotion and education initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience in critical care

Technical Skills

• Advanced Clinical Skills
• Patient Care Technology

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Beginner
