Accountant (General Ledger)

Job Description

We are looking for a driven Accountant (General Ledger) who will manage key financial processes such as managing transactions in the general ledger, assisting with audits, and conducting variance analysis. Responsibilities

• Lead monthly accounting close processes and financial analysis.
• Prepare and provide variance analysis to management.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
• Analyze income and expenditure data.
• Collaborate with other departments for budgetary compliance.
• Assist in dealing with financial discrepancies.
• Provide training for accounting staff.
• Review and complete monthly reporting requirements.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Master's degree preferred but not required.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
