DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud technologies and a passion for automation. You will be responsible for implementingCI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure, and ensuring reliability and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives in infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for operational tasks.
• Review and improve existing infrastructure setups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical requirements.
• Educate team members on DevOps principles and practices.
• Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools into the workflow.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Contribute to designing reliable failover and recovery strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices.

Technical Skills

• CI/CD tools
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
