Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance department in Johannesburg. You will leverage your expertise to interpret financial data, create forecasts, and provide recommendations. Responsibilities

• Conduct financial modeling and analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects.
• Review financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Provide insights into costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Conduct variance analysis and commentary on financials.
• Create dashboards to track performance metrics.
• Manage relationships with external financial stakeholders.
• Evaluate profitability of business units and products.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics or Finance
• Master's degree in Finance or MBA is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or investment analysis

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
