Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing or balance problems. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, providing assessments, consultations, and hearing aid fittings to improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic services for hearing impairment using advanced audiometric equipment.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss complex patient cases.
  • Conduct workshops for patients on hearing conservation and technology use.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and standards in audiology.
  • Assist in research projects related to audiology to advance the field.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  • Help develop educational materials for patients regarding hearing health.
  • Utilize patient feedback to improve service delivery and care.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Audiology (preferred)
  • Current registration with HPCSA
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience focusing on adult and paediatric populations

  • Certification from the South African Academy of Audiology
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Sotho: Basic

Advantageous
