Job Description

The Human Factors Engineer will be responsible for assessing and improving the design, layout, and functionality of workspaces to maximize employee health, safety, and productivity. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of ergonomics principles and demonstrate the ability to provide practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ergonomic training workshops for staff.
  • Assess existing workplace designs and propose enhancements.
  • Identify trends in workplace injuries and develop preventive measures.
  • Advise on workstation equipment selection.
  • Work alongside health professionals to create wellness programs.
  • Evaluate and report on the success of ergonomic interventions.
  • Assist in the preparation of health and safety reports.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that embraces ergonomic practices.
  • Liaise with external ergonomic specialists to refine practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics or Occupational Health
  • Certificate in Occupational Safety or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ergonomics or occupational health
