Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Systems Analyst to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will focus on evaluating and optimizing renewable energy projects, developing innovative strategies, and engaging with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and audits of existing renewable energy installations.
• Advise on compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize project designs.
• Research and present findings on emerging renewable technologies.
• Coordinate with government bodies on policy advocacy related to renewable energy.
• Develop sustainability benchmarks and metrics for project evaluation.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications and project proposals.
• Provide technical expertise during client consultations.
• Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making processes.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on renewable energy best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or related field
• Master's degree in Renewable Energy Management is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy consulting
