Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Pet Groomer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming various breeds, an eye for detail, and a genuine passion for animal care. You will play a key role in ensuring the happiness and well-being of our furry clients while maintaining a high standard of grooming.

Responsibilities

  • Groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences.
  • Educate pet owners on grooming best practices and home care.
  • Handle difficult pets gently and professionally.
  • Coordinate with the team to manage scheduling and client appointments.
  • Participate in promotional events to attract new clients.
  • Maintain inventory of grooming supplies and report shortages.
  • Implement best practices for pet comfort and care during grooming.
  • Provide follow-up care advice to pet owners after grooming.
  • Foster a friendly and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant grooming courses or apprenticeship preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a grooming environment
