Responsibilities

• Groom pets according to breed standards and customer preferences.
• Educate pet owners on hygiene and grooming best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Conduct health checks on pets before grooming.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
• Participate in community pet events to promote services.
• Provide recommendations for additional grooming products.
• Assist in grooming and bathing training for junior staff.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss goals and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in animal care or grooming is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in pet grooming with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• Grooming Products Knowledge

Certifications

• Certification from a recognized grooming school

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid for Pets Certification: Certification in first aid for pets is advantageous.
• Experience in a veterinary setting: Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
