Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. You will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the company’s financial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee compliance with internal financial controls.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures and policies.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and anomalies.
• Prepare VAT returns and tax computations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Evaluate financial operations and recommend improvements.
• Help implement financial software and accounting systems.
• Train junior finance staff on accounting systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment

• ACCA Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with IFRS standards: Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards for compliance.
