As an Investment Banker in our Durban branch, you will engage with high-profile clients and deliver expert financial solutions. Your role will encompass advising on investment opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing complex financial transactions. Candidates with prior experience in a similar role and exceptional communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend investment strategies to clients.
• Support the structuring of financial deals and complex transactions.
• Create comprehensive investment proposals for clients.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for transaction oversight.
• Assist in client onboarding and relationship management.
• Develop risk assessment models to mitigate investment risks.
• Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor junior staff and interns within the investment banking team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's in Finance or Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance
