Job Description

As a Veterinarian at East London Veterinary Clinic, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and care of animals. We are looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also has a love for animals and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat a variety of animal species including cats, dogs, and small mammals.
  • Consult with pet owners regarding their concerns and treatment options.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively to assess animal conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain sterilized instruments and the surgery area.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to monitor patients' progress and recovery.
  • Collaborate with specialists for advanced diagnostics and treatments.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical veterinary regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
  • Registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • Experience in a clinical environment is highly desirable, preferably 2+ years
