Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

Join us as a Cybersecurity Consultant, where you will leverage your knowledge to enhance our clients' data integrity and confidentiality. Your role invlovles conducting security assessments and developing strategic security plans tailored to client needs, ensuring full adherence to compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead security audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Develop incident response strategies and execute response plans.
• Implement security monitoring systems to detect unauthorized activity.
• Work with external partners to secure additional cybersecurity support.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and investigations.
• Guide and mentor junior cybersecurity staff.
• Coordinate with law enforcement on cybersecurity incidents when necessary.
• Design security frameworks and standards to guide IT initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of consulting experience in cybersecurity

• Information Security Policy Development

Certifications

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in penetration testing: Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Experience with firewall and intrusion detection systems: Knowledge of implementing firewall protections and IDS.
