Job Description

As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless functionality of our communication systems. Your expertise will be essential in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data communication equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain a variety of telecommunications equipment.
  • Conduct necessary repairs and perform routine inspections on equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Keep meticulous records of system changes and maintenance work.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance to users as needed.
  • Engage with vendors for procurement of specialized equipment and tools.
  • Participate in team training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Support the integration of new technologies into existing systems.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with industry standards and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Telecommunications or a relevant technical field
Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a telecommunications environment.

Certifications
  • Cisco CCNP (preferred)
