Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Sand Slinger to operate and maintain machines for preparing molds and patterns crucial for the metal casting process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with sand slinger machinery and a keen eye for detail to ensure quality production.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor sand slinger machines during production.
• Adjust settings as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Detect and resolve any problems with the machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production planning and challenges.
• Contribute ideas for improving production processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience as a sand slinger operator or in a similar role.

Languages
