Job Description

We are on the lookout for a data-savvy Data Engineer to join our innovative team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data pipelines, ensuring data quality and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Review system and network configurations for security compliance.
• Field inquiries and provide technical support on security issues.
• Coordinate with external auditors for security assessments.
• Establish security awareness campaigns across the organization.
• Develop incident response protocols and participate in disaster recovery drills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or relevant field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on incident management.

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

• Knowledge of security frameworks: Understanding of NIST and ISO security frameworks is advantageous.
