Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful applicant will play a critical role in managing medication therapy and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care for our patients. You will be responsible for counseling patients, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train pharmacy staff in operational procedures.
• Assess medication therapy management plans for patients.
• Engage in patient follow-ups to monitor health outcomes.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on pharmacy practices.
• Manage pharmacy budget and financial reports.
• Facilitate medication therapy management and chronic disease management programs.

Requirements

Education

• B.Pharm or equivalent
• Additional certifications in clinical pharmacy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
