We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to lead our investment initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and client portfolio management. Your expertise will drive our performance and enhance client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assess client investment needs and design tailored investment proposals.
• Manage performance analysis and benchmarking against market indices.
• Direct and coordinate investment research efforts across various sectors.
• Implement best practices in asset management and portfolio construction.
• Participate in business development initiatives to attract new clients.
• Review and comply with all fiduciary duties and investment mandates.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior portfolio managers and analysts.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of economic, political, and social events affecting the markets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Investment Management
• MBA or equivalent qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing client portfolios in investment banking
