Job Description

We are on the hunt for an IT Support Technician who will be the first line of support for our clients in Johannesburg. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing excellent customer service to ensure a seamless IT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Assist users with system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in IT projects as required.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for services and repair.
  • Perform periodic system audits to maintain performance.
  • Ensure backup and recovery procedures are followed.
  • Communicate with users on service interruptions and updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or customer service

Languages
