Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter at Rest Assured Insurance, you will play a vital role in evaluating insurance applications, determining coverage, and ensuring that our policies meet regulatory standards. You will work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed risk analyses for a variety of insurance products.
• Assist in the development of new insurance products based on client needs and market changes.
• Coordinate with actuaries to ensure that pricing models are accurate.
• Evaluate complex claims and assess potential fraud risks.
• Support regulatory compliance by adhering to guidelines and standards.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Keep records of underwriting activities for future reference and analysis.
• Mentor and guide new staff on underwriting practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in underwriting with a focus on life or property insurance

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
