Job Description

We are seeking a Loading Rack Supervisor to manage operations at our loading facility. This role requires overseeing daily loading activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee loading operations, ensuring timely and accurate loading of vehicles.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain records for stock control.
  • Implement safety protocols and conduct safety training for staff.
  • Resolve operational issues related to loading and staff management.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental policies during loading processes.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics planning for loading activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of loading equipment and processes.
  • Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the petroleum or manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills
  • SAP or Other Inventory Management Systems
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • ISO and HSE Standards Knowledge
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Advanced Certification in Logistics: Higher certification in logistics management will be beneficial.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies: Knowledge of methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
