Job Description

We are seeking Metal-Refining Furnace Operators and Tenders to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining retort pre-cooking equipment, ensuring safe processing of all products in line with industry standards. This role requires close attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for production runs, ensuring specifications are met.
• Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs when issues arise.
• Keep abreast of industry regulations and best practices.
• Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
• Lead by example in maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical qualification in Food Processing or related area

Experience

• 2+ years working in food processing environments preferred.

Languages
