Bank Vault Attendant

Job Description

As a Bank Vault Attendant, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining security systems, ensuring the safety of all valuables stored in the vault. This role requires excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of the bank's vaults at all times.
• Monitor access to the vaults and ensure that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Handle the opening and closing of the vaults according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all vault transactions.
• Assist customers with their safe deposit boxes.
• Respond to any alarms or security breaches in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular checks of the vaults and surrounding areas.
• Implement and adhere to all security policies and protocols.
• Assist with the training of new security staff.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Security qualification would be advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a bank or financial institution would be advantageous.
