As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with daily activities and providing essential support in their homes. This position requires a caring and empathetic individual dedicated to improving the lives of others.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with essential daily activities to promote independence and improve quality of life.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
Maintain clients’ personal hygiene and assist with grooming.
Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines and preferences.
Communicate regularly with family members about client progress.
Document care provided and report any significant health changes.
Participate in continuous training to enhance caregiving skills.
Provide transportation for clients to doctor's appointments or events.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in caregiving.
Requirements
Education
Matric or equivalent qualification
Diploma in Nursing or Home Health Aide program is advantageous
Experience
Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare is an advantage
