Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Veterinarian to join our team in Bloemfontein. The role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions, educating pet owners, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in pets and livestock.
• Conduct surgical procedures and follow-up care.
• Lay out treatment plans and ensure pet owners understand them.
• Educate the public about animal care and welfare.
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide reports as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of care.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Manage inventory of medications and supplies.
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.
• Assist in training and mentoring support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in veterinary services

Advantageous
