We are seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a solid understanding of pharmacotherapy to ensure effective medication management.
Responsibilities
Support clinical research and clinical trials related to pharmacotherapy.
Provide medication safety oversight and adverse drug reaction reporting.
Assist in the development of patient education materials.
Engage with external stakeholders to improve pharmacy services.
Work towards achieving accreditation and quality improvement goals.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior pharmacists.
Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
Implement strategies to reduce medication errors.
Participate in community outreach programs around medication safety.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
PhD in Pharmacy or related field preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy services
