Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Fur Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery and tools to efficiently process and finish fur products. Attention to detail and a deep understanding of fur handling techniques are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in fur processing.
• Sort and inspect incoming furs for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize fur processing techniques.
• Monitor equipment settings and adjust as required for optimal results.
• Document production and quality control metrics daily.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain accurate records of fur supplies and finished products.
• Train new staff on fur processing techniques and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance on processing equipment.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in sewing and pattern-making are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Fur Operator or similar role in the fashion industry.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in garment fitting and alteration: Background in adjusting and tailoring fur garments.
