Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and supporting networking environments. Responsibilities include ensuring network availability and reliability, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Ensure network security protocols are implemented and maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages.
• Perform regular network assessments and optimizations.
• Coordinate with other IT staff for infrastructure improvements.
• Manage firewall and security appliance configurations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations.
• Support end-users with network access and connectivity issues.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on network best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in network administration
