Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be involved in designing and implementing processes that enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of chemical processes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions and drive the efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement chemical processes for production.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to achieve production goals.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and reports.
  • Assist in the training of junior engineers and new staff.
  • Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Support project management initiatives related to chemical engineering.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a chemical engineering capacity
