Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at our Johannesburg facility, you will be responsible for upkeep, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to operational efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled maintenance on a variety of machinery.
• Document all service and repair work performed.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to detect and resolve faults.
• Assist in ensuring workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a bonus

Experience

• 4-6 years of hands-on maintenance experience

Technical Skills

• PLC Programming
• Welding and Fabrication

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• First Aid Training
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of boiler systems: Experience in repairing and maintaining boiler systems.
• Previous experience in FMCG environment: Experience working in fast-paced environments like FMCG.
