Job Description

We're looking for a creative Architect to join our Pretoria team. You'll have the chance to lead architectural designs from concept to completion, ensuring all projects meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Design and draft architectural plans and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
• Oversee the construction process and provide technical support.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior architects and design staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architectural Design is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural practice

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Leadership

Certifications

• Construction Management Certification
• Sustainability Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Sustainable Design: Experience in designing energy-efficient and sustainable structures.
• Knowledge of Local Building Codes: Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in South Africa.
