Haulage Engine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Haulage Engine Operator to manage and maintain our haulage engines. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all operational standards, perform preventative maintenance, and support our logistics team by delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery with attention to safety protocols.
• Perform necessary checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist in planning delivery routes for efficiency.
• Maintain healthy communication with other drivers and logistical staff.
• Document daily operations in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Certificate or diploma in automotive/mechanical engineering is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy-duty vehicles.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Equipment Operation
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with PDP

Languages

• English: Fluent
