Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ financial status and build customized financial plans.
• Guide clients on long-term financial strategies to achieve their goals.
• Conduct thorough analysis of investment options available in the market.
• Implement estate planning strategies and compliance requirements.
• Engage in ongoing communication to enhance client relationships.
• Develop financial models to forecast and assess client needs.
• Host seminars or workshops for client education.
• Foster teamwork within the financial advisory team to tackle client challenges.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Identify potential areas of improvement in client portfolio performances.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Economics
• Master's degree in Finance or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a related financial advisory role

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment

• Negotiation skills

Certifications

• Registered Financial Consultant (RFC)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• CFP certification or pursuing: Having or actively working towards the Certified Financial Planner qualification.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate fluently in both languages is an advantage.
