Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to oversee various construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing teams and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams to discuss progress.
  • Monitor project budget and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times on site.
  • Implement green building practices and sustainable construction techniques.
  • Coordinate training for team members regarding safety and compliance.
  • Review contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and local construction regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Higher education in construction management is an advantage
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects
