Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Sign Board Erector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of signage structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess installation locations to determine the best approach for sign installation.
• Read and interpret site plans and signage specifications.
• Assemble and install sign structures, including electrical and non-electrical signs.
• Ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and team members during installations.
• Maintain and operate hand and power tools, ensuring they are used safely.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing signs as needed.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safety policies.
• Develop positive relationships with clients and meet their installation needs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior installers.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Advanced certification in Welding and Fabrication is preferable

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in installation and repair of signage.

Languages

• English: Fluent
