Job Description

Join our team in Cape Town as a General Practitioner where you will provide quality medical care to our diverse population. Responsibilities include assessing patients' health, diagnosing ailments, and prescribing treatment. You will also participate in health promotion and community outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in a primary care setting.
  • Provide health advice and counseling to patients.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
  • Address patient concerns and coordinate appropriate referrals.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Familiarize with local health resources to guide patients effectively.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and interns.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Be part of staff meetings and contribute to practice discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Specialisation in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred
