The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing chemical processes while contributing to the development of innovative chemical products. This position requires a proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for new product lines.
• Conduct safety assessments and implement best practices in the lab.
• Lead projects aimed at scaling up chemical production from laboratory to manufacturing.
• Analyze laboratory and production data to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source raw materials.
• Support the team in ensuring quality assurance in products.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
• Develop cost analysis for new projects and processes.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives aimed at waste reduction.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in chemical manufacturing or related role

Technical Skills

• Chemical Process Simulation

Certifications

• Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
