Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance operational performance. A strong understanding of inventory management and logistics is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supply chain efficiency through data analysis and reporting.
• Facilitate relationships with vendors and stakeholders to enhance supply chain processes.
• Implement best practices in inventory control and logistics management.
• Generate detailed reports on inventory and supply chain performance to present to management.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Manage the flow of goods and materials through the supply chain.
• Collaborate with finance teams to track supply chain expenditures and report variances.
• Utilize software tools for tracking inventory and supply chain operations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies within the supply chain.
• Train and mentor junior supply chain staff on best practices and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in supply chain processes
