Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes, ensuring efficiency, and implementing innovative solutions to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency.
• Review and refine inventory management processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of logistics strategies.
• Evaluate suppliers and logistics partners based on performance metrics.
• Identify trends in supply chain operations to drive improvements.
• Develop solutions to reduce lead times and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in logistics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain process improvement

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Software
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean methodologies: Hands-on experience with Lean principles to streamline processes.
