Job Description

As an Incinerator Operator, you will be operating, monitoring, and maintaining incinerators while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health and safety standards. Join our dedicated team to contribute to sustainable waste management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain incinerators in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and inspections.
  • Document all operational activities and maintenance performed.
  • Train new staff and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with management on improving operational efficiencies.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures when necessary.
  • Ensure waste is handled, sorted, and processed correctly.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss safety and operational improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in incinerator operation and maintenance or waste management.
Technical Skills
  • Basic Computer Skills

Certifications
  • Certification in Waste Management
Languages
  • English: Fluent
