Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Derrick Operator to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our rotary derricks. The ideal candidate must prioritize safety while performing routine maintenance and communicating effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate a rotary derrick according to company standards and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation as required.
• Monitor drilling operations and adjust equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment for the drilling crew.
• Report any issues or irregularities to the Drilling Supervisor.
• Participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Assist in training new team members on operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a rotary derrick.

Languages
