Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will provide crucial support and counseling to clients across various settings. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and guiding clients through their recovery process, while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment approaches when necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive support and guidance to clients and their families.
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute insights on client care.
  • Engage with clients in a culturally sensitive manner, respecting individual backgrounds.
  • Support the development of wellness plans and self-care strategies for clients.
  • Engage in supervision and mentorship opportunities as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work
  • Current LPC registration is a must
Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting
