Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing finance team in Port Elizabeth. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and payments are made in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and efficient work ethic will contribute significantly to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounts payable documentation for audits.
• Analyze vendor statements and follow up on any discrepancies.
• Support the finance manager in preparing financial reports.
• Review and improve the accounts payable workflow as necessary.
• Provide training to junior staff in accounts payable procedures.
• Participate in relevant finance projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Accounting or Financial Management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in financial operations

Technical Skills

• SAGE Accounting Software
• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP)
• Certificate in Finance and Accounting

Languages
