Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of supply chain processes, ensuring effective management of logistics activities throughout the organization. Your role will involve coordinating shipments, managing inventories, and liaising with suppliers and customers to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify potential risks in logistics processes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement new technologies and software solutions to enhance logistics efficiency.
  • Prepare budgets for logistics operations and monitor expenditure.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to improve overall business performance.
  • Evaluate and optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and improve service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  • Facilitate training and development for logistics staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics Management
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination or management
